Housing

At New Life RTF Albany, we believe that safe, stable housing is a foundation for mental wellness and long-term recovery. Housing offers more than just shelter—it fosters dignity, independence, and the space to build healthy routines. When paired with compassionate support, housing becomes a place where individuals can heal, grow, and reclaim control of their lives. That’s why we offer multiple housing options tailored to different needs and recovery stages.

Transitional Housing

Our transitional housing programs are designed to support individuals as they take the next step toward independent living. These homes offer a structured, community-focused environment with onsite staff available to assist participants in developing the skills and plans needed for future success. With fewer barriers and consistent guidance, individuals have the chance to stabilize, set goals, and prepare for long-term housing solutions.

Permanent Supportive Housing

For those who require ongoing support to live independently, our permanent supportive housing provides a stable home environment combined with continued access to services. These housing options include onsite staff, therapeutic support, and access to tools that help residents sustain wellness and independence. Participants are encouraged to build lasting routines, relationships, and confidence—right where they live.

Independent Housing

Everyone deserves a place to call home. Our independent housing options include affordable, standalone apartment units that offer privacy, freedom, and long-term stability. These locations are suited for individuals who are ready to live on their own without daily staff presence but may still benefit from occasional support. Community-based services and clinic referrals are available upon request, ensuring residents never feel alone in their journey.
