New Life RTF Albany is seeking a compassionate and reliable Residential Support Specialist to join our dedicated mental health care team. In this role, you will provide daily support to residents in our transitional and permanent housing programs. You’ll help create a safe, stable, and respectful living environment by assisting residents with daily routines, encouraging independence, and supporting them in their recovery goals.
Responsibilities include monitoring resident safety, maintaining a clean and welcoming space, leading life-skills activities, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure individualized care plans are supported effectively. Candidates should be comfortable working in a trauma-informed setting, demonstrate strong communication skills, and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
This is a 24/7 facility, and shifts may include evenings, weekends, or overnights. Prior experience in residential or behavioral health settings is preferred but not required.
